It was truly a dream to travel across the world to be a part of Danielle & Mathieu’s wedding in France at the Chateau Pontet D’eyrans. Danielle & Mathieu met online in 2012 and before she went off to study abroad that year in Italy, they planned to meet up during spring break in Italy. After many Skype calls and being apart from one another, she finally moved to Bordeaux with him and was determined to fluently speak French which is super impressed by the way!! Have I mentioned that Danielle is the sweetest most incredible human I’ve ever met? Anyhow back to the story…
They both spent almost every day going to castles and vineyards (there are hundreds of beautiful castles in France by the way so you’ll never get bored) and had a magical adventure together falling in love! They both eventually moved back to Florida and promised one another that one day they would have the wedding of their dreams and BOYY was it a dream!
Danielle planned this entire wedding (abroad) on her own and let me tell you, I was amazed at how detail oriented and well thought out everything was from the decor, the wedding dresses she was going to wear (there were two by the way) to having all of the guests accommodated at the castle and providing transportation for everyone there! This woman is a superhuman I tell you. I’m still not exactly sure how she was able to do it being thousands of miles away and having French as her second language.
But enough with my ongoing rambling, here are the amazing moments we captured on their beautiful day!!
